Home / Balabac tours / Private tours
A private charter means the entire boat, the crew and our beachfront campsite are reserved for your group alone. Nobody else joins you. It is the most comfortable way to see Balabac, and the cost is carried by your group rather than shared.
What a private charter means
- Your own private, roofed boat for the whole trip
- A licensed captain and local guide working to your group
- The campsite at Punta Sebaring reserved for your group only
- Your own schedule within the safe limits of sea and tide
- A stop at Onok Island, timed before the day-trippers arrive
Who private charters suit
Private charters suit families, groups of friends and anyone who wants the islands to themselves. They are also the better choice if your group has specific needs around pace, food, privacy or the ages of the people travelling. If you are flexible on dates and want the lowest per-person price, look at a joiner departure instead.

How private pricing works
On a charter the fixed costs – the boat, the fuel, the captain, the guide, the van and the camp setup – fall on your group rather than being divided among strangers. The per-person price therefore depends on how many people you are. Our published group rates are ₱19,800 per person for the 4-day expedition and ₱17,800 per person for the 3-day Essential Balabac, based on a group of four, with ₱17,500 per person for groups of 5 to 10. Message us for a private rate for your exact group size and dates.
What charters do not include
- Flights to Puerto Princesa
- Travel insurance - arrange it in your own country, we do not provide it
- Personal snacks and drinks
- Gratuities for the crew
Questions travellers ask
How much does a private Balabac tour cost?
It depends on your group size and dates, because the boat, crew, van and camp costs are not shared with other travellers. Our published group rates start at PHP 19,800 per person for the 4-day expedition for a group of 4. Message us for a private quote.
Can we choose our own itinerary?
Within safety limits, yes. We will build the route around what your group wants to see, but the final island list always depends on sea conditions, tide and Coast Guard clearance.
What is the minimum group size for a charter?
Message us with your group size and dates and we will tell you exactly what is possible and what it costs.
Can we upgrade from tents?
A hut upgrade is available at the campsite. Tell us when you book.
